I joined Viking Robotics initially because my son was interested and involved, and I thought it looked like a lot of fun!  I work on the graphic designs and help with the yearly buttons. I have taken thousands of photographs for the team in various venues.  I help with food, bringing food for Saturday lunches and snacks for competitions. I help raise money for the team. And I cheer for the team at all their events. The first year my son went to the KC Regional I went to visit a friend in Florida.  I spent the weekend watching all the events on her computer, ignoring the beautiful sunny weather. I was sad I missed it in person and have not scheduled a spring break trip since then! I traveled to Denver with the team and got to watch my son wear bib #3 for the finals. It has been an exciting and eventful 4 years.
