I joined robotics for something completely new and different. 
I am a jazz musician and an athlete, so robotics is a totally new concept for me.
My friend David told me to come to a robotics meeting, and here I am today. 
A favorite memory of robotics was participating in the 2009-10 Cowtown Throwdown in the Lunacy game as the human player.
