Why we need your support...

  • After three years of funding, we are no longer supported by the Kauffman Foundation
  • Entry fees and the Kit of Parts for the FIRST Robotics Competitions are in excess of $6,000
  • Purchases of spare and additional parts for the robots are costly, but are a necessity
  • Travel and lodging expenses for the regional and local competitions can be considerable
  • Every FIRST team needs approximately $18,000 every year to meet the needs of the team
  • We are looking for sponsors who would be willing to commit on a multi-year basis
  • We are also soliciting tools, tool chests, food for build sessions, and other tangible contributions
  • Time to help the students build the robot and mentor their design would also be appreciated
  • Science, math, and technology are areas in which the United States is lagging behind. FIRST Robotics is helping to solve that problem
