  • RTE Technologies - Mark A. Campbell, P.E. formed RTE Technologies, Inc. in April, 1998. The 21 years prior to forming RTE, Mark worked through, learned from, and helped manage a consulting engineering firm originally started by his father, Bob D. Campbell, P.E. in January, 1958. Since inception, RTE has completed several hundred projects, from the smallest beam sizing task, to multi-million dollar buildings. In its short history, several clients have requested continual services.

  • SMW High School - Located at 8800 West 85th Street, Shawnee Mission West High School has been educating students of Overland Park and Lenexa since 1964. The largest of 5 schools in the Shawnee Mission School District, SM West serves a cross-section of students. We have the greatest ethnic diversity of all 5 high schools, with many students whose parents have sought a better education for their children. SM West has been very supportive of the robotics program and its sponsors, both with monetary funds and release time.

  • Barnes and Noble - Barnes & Noble, Inc. is the largest book retailer in the United States, operating mainly through its Barnes & Noble Booksellers chain of bookstores headquartered on Fifth Avenue in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The company is known for large, upscale retail outlets, many of which contain a café serving Starbucks Coffee, and for competitive discounting of bestsellers. Most stores also sell magazines, newspapers, DVDs, graphic novels, gifts, games, and music. Video games and related items were sold in the company's GameStop retail outlets until October 2004, when the division was spun-off into an independent company. As of October 2009, the company operates 775 stores in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia in addition to 636 college bookstores, which serves nearly 4 million students and 250,000 faculty members across the country.
  • LogoDonkey - LogoDonkey is a start-up graphic arts company located in Salt Lake City, Utah. LogoDonkey was created to provide small start-up businesses a chance to become noticed in an overly crowded business world. LogoDonkey works with a variety of budgets and still gives the professionalism that a company deserves, saving money and time. They understand the importance of logos and a strong corporate identity. Their objective is to provide a perfect company design that will uniquely represent a company all over the world, without the big business expense. In addition to logos they design banners, flyers, business cards, and brochures. Operated by James Plankinton, our robot graphic was designed by him and donated to the club.

    SM West PTSA - Shawnee Mission West PTSA is an organization that was formed for parents, teachers, and students of Shawnee Mission West High School. They meet once per month for their business meetings. PTSA is responsible for many events at the high school. They sponsor Senior Sizzle, an entertainment alternative for after Prom, where prizes are won by students; keeping them safe and away from parties. They also sponsor After Game Parties for students. They publish The Viking Voice, a newsletter to keep members informed, and each semester they award numerous grants to teachers for materials to enhance the teaching process.
